The UN Global Compact Leaders Summit 2017 brings together an international community of leaders from business, civil society, academia, Government and the United Nations to accelerate local and global business action and partnerships to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

It will gather global leaders to inspire true leadership for the SDGs, present highlights of General Assembly week and chart the way ahead for increased public-private collaboration to create the world we want.

The Summit serves as the annual opportunity to unveil the UN Global Compact’s latest intelligence from Action Platforms, generate meaningful and innovative engagement opportunities around the SDGs and to celebrate ambitious leaders and innovators from around the worlds with 2017 Pioneers, Project Breakthrough and the Global Opportunity Explorer

With less than 5,000 days to meet the 17 Global Goals by the 2030 deadline, the Leaders Summit seeks to challenge the status quo and the business-as-usual mindset. Featuring progressive and exciting plenary speakers alongside SDG-themed networking opportunities, the Summit will focus on how the UN Global Compact community can deliver measurable impacts for sustainable development.
