Rosane is the regional liaison for the Cities Programme in Brazil, holding the position of Country Contact Point, Brazil.

Rosane de Souza is a journalist, with a Masters in International Marketing (FAE Business School – Curitiba) and Social Management (Carl Duisberg Gesellschaft – Alemanha), and also in Responsible Management for Sustainability (Fundação Dom Cabral – São Paulo). For 15 years Rosane has been shaping her professional curriculum with experiences and education related to the environmental and sustainability enterprise. She has experience in working with Corporate Strategic Management (Sustainability Score Card – SSC, Global Report Initiative – GRI), Socio-Environment Governance); Regional Sustainable Development; and with Stakeholders Engagement.

For more than 20 years Rosane worked for Copel – The Energy Company of Paraná, one of the largest companies in the energy sector in Brazil. In her role as Deputy Director of Environment and Corporate Citizenship with Copel, Rosane co-lead the development of the first UN Global Compact – Cities Programme state-wide initiative in Paraná.

Rosane is also one of the leaders for the Sustainable and Innovative Alliance of the Americas, where she has, to date, engaged representatives of 33 countries in the Americas.

Rosane de Souzaé e representante do Programa Cidades do Pacto Global das Nações Unidas no Brasil e In-Country Convenor da Aliança Paraná Sustentável.

Rosane é jornalista, especializada em Administração em Marketing (FAE Business School – Curitiba) e em Marketing Internacional (Carl Duisberg Gesellschaft – Alemanha), Gestão Social (ISAE/FVG – Curitiba)) e Gestão Responsável para a Sustentabilidade (Fundação Dom Cabral – São Paulo). Há mais de 15 anos vem buscando formação executiva na área de meio ambiente e sustentabilidade e atuando diretamente em gestão empresarial estratégica, com expertise em Sustentanability Score Card – SSC, Global Report Iniciative – GRI, Gestão de Indicadores Socioambientais, em desenvolvimento local e regional sustentável, e em diálogo e engajamento de stakeholders.

Trabalhou 20 anos na Companhia Paranaense de Energia – Copel, uma das maiores do setor no país, assumindo a vice-diretoria de Meio Ambiente e Cidadania Empresarial, onde surgiram as primeiras inciativas do Programa Cidades do Pacto Global no Estado do Paraná.

Hoje É também articuladora da Aliança das Américas Sustentáveis e Inovadoras, iniciativa inovadora que que reúne em rede representantes de 33 países do Continente Americano.
