Carla Traub
Carla is working on the strategic engagement of European Global Compact participant cities. The engagement focuses on identifying European member cities’ objectives, priority issues, challenges and needs and will support the development of City Scan diagnostics, action plans and innovative projects. Carla Traub is a Senior Intern with the Cities Programme.
Carla brings work experience with the UN, consulting in the international development sector and with the private sector. She previously worked for the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction as a consultant in the Business Partnerships Team, where she supported the coordination of the organization’s Private Sector Partnership for Disaster Risk Reduction. Prior to that, Carla worked as a consultant with Dalberg Global Development Advisors, a strategy consulting firm specializing in advising international development organizations. She also brings private sector work experience with Procter & Gamble in Geneva.
Carla has a Master’s in International Politics from the University of Oxford and a BA in International Relations from the University of Geneva. She speaks English, German, French, Italian, some Spanish and is learning Mandarin.
