Jay Vigoreaux

Jay is the founder and principal of JVA Group, a leading full service architectural, project management and sustainability firm headquartered in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He began his career in 1984 working for New York City firms Witthoefft Associates Architects and George Cooper Rudolph III Architects before relocating to Puerto Rico in 1987 and starting his private practice in 1992.

Jay obtained degrees in both Environmental Design and Architecture and is now a recognised member of Puerto Rico’s College of Architects and Landscape Architects where he is a member of its Ethics Committee

In a multidisciplinary practice spanning 32 years, Jay has developed expertise and continuous experience with a wide range of project types, sizes complexities and budgets. He is also the President of GLOBCO, who represent UN Global Compact participants in Puerto Rico.

Jay is the liaison person for city participants of the UN Global Compact in Puerto Rico.
