Chanel Bearder

Chanel works with the Cities Programme communications team writing content for the organisation’s website and helps to maintain its profile in the media. She is also the Public Engagement and Communications Officer at the RMIT Centre for Urban Research, handling the Centre’s media enquiries and developing its communication strategies.

With a background in journalism, Chanel is an alumnus of the RMIT Master of Communication program and has worked in various media roles in Australia and the Netherlands.
