Simon Feeny

Associate Professor Simon Feeny has a PhD and 15 years’ experience in international development. He is presently an Associate Professor in Development Economics at RMIT University and a former Principal Research Fellow, International Development, at Deakin University.

Simon has published over 60 books, book chapters and journal articles in a wide range of fields and undertaken a number of research-based consultancies for organisations including the Department for Foreign Affairs and Trade, the United Nations, the South Pacific Forum Secretariat and the ASEAN Secretariat. He has led large research projects valued at over $1million dollars and which have included extensive research fieldwork in developing countries.

Simon is based in Melbourne, Australia.
