Eduardo Manoel Araujo

Eduardo Manoel Araujo has a long standing career as a sustainability practitioner and educator. He has worked for many years as the Environmental and Citizenship Executive Manager and Advisor at Brazilian energy corporation COPEL and is also the Founder of the Arayara Institute of Sustainability Education. He is the author of “A Possible Dream – From a non-sustainable materialism to a holistic sustainable life”. More recently, Eduardo worked to establish the Our Sustainable Paraná Alliance and undertook the role of In-Country Convenor of the Regional Secretariat of Global Compact Cities Programme in Paraná.

Eduardo is a Civil Engineer with a Masters degree in Computer Science, with a specialisation in TQM from the Japanese Union of Scientists and Engineers. He has undertaken Executive Studies at the University of Western Ontario, Strategy at the University of Michigan, Human Values at the Peirópolis Foundation, Systems Thinking at IBQP and Appreciative Inquiry at Case Western Reserve University.

Eduardo is based in Curitiba, Brazil.
