Focusing on Research and Innovation as a process for forward planning to address urban challenges Dr Malcom Borg's presentation on collaboration for effective H2020 bids provides great examples of city planning and regeneration projects set within national and EU priority Axis. Dr Malcom Borg’s presentation was part of the H2020 Cities Programme June Webinar: Developing Effective Horizon 2020 bids. The Horizon 2020 programme is the biggest EU research and innovation programme, with €80 billion of funding available between 2014 and 2020. Dr Borg is the Regional Liaison for the cities and regions of Malta for the UN Global Compact – Cities Programme.
