Kaitlin Roney

Former Intern

Kaitlin worked as a City Engagement officer for the UN Global Compact – Cities Programme in later 2017.  She originally undertook an internship with the Cities Programme focused on city engagement in early 2017. During her internship, Kaitlin worked on a range of important city engagement activities to assist with the development and roll out of a new engagement strategy. Her background is in International Development and she was completing her Master of International Business (Sustainability) at RMIT University during her internship. During this Masters, Kaitlin’s research focused on implementing and standardising sustainable and ethical business practices and sustainable Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
Kaitlin has 2+ years of experience working in partnership management and International Development at a number of other Australian based organisations. This work has largely been focused in the Asia Pacific region helping to build a network of like-minded Youth run and driven organisations. Kaitlin’s internship was supervised by Eizabeth Ryan.
