Beatriz is currently teaching and undertaking research in the areas of sustainable residential habitat in the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism, University of Chile. She lived in Australia for 25 years, where she practised as an architect and urban designer and as an academic at RMIT University, Monash University and the University of Melbourne. Her academic and research interests are concerned with architectural education, social integration and sustainable urban development. Beatriz is the founder and current vice president of Architects for Peace.org.
