To address a number of urban issues in Ulaanbaatar by ensuring information exchange between cities and the national authority, particularly in the areas of urban planning and municipal services.

Issues Project is Seeking to Address

There is currently a limited ability to provide citizens with urban services and resources to address social problems, such as unemployment

Planned Actions
  1. Conduct an analysis of development levels across the city to identify key issues and assets
  2. Clarify city development visions through a participatory process
  3. Formulate City Development Strategies (CDS) and prioritised action plans to realise the visions
Desired Outcomes
  1. Build institutional capacity for improved Governance
  2. Establish frameworks to build an enabling environment for social improvement and economic growth
  3. Provide mechanisms for job creations and sustainable livelihoods
