Climate Collaboration Forum 2017
Be part of a unique climate event in Melbourne on 7 June at the Jasper Hotel, 489 Elizabeth St, Melbourne 3000
The United Nations Association of Australia (UNAA) is holding a Climate Collaboration Forum on 7 June. This full-day event is designed to provide participants with a unique opportunity to see the best of what is happening in Australian climate management, including presentation of the 2017 World Environment Day Climate Action Awards, and have their say in the collaboration that is needed to take Australia to a net zero future.
The Forum will include:
- 10am – 12 noon: Climate Management Showcase. See what is being done in climate management now and meet practitioners keen to share ideas
- 12 noon – 2.15pm: World Environment Day Climate Action Awards presentation lunch. Hosted by Rob Gell AM, this will include a keynote address by Professor Fiona Stanley AC FAA FASSA on the impacts of climate change on health.
- 2.30pm – 5pm: Climate Collaboration Workshops
Cities Programme Chair Michael Nolan will be facilitating a climate resilient cities session for the Forum in combination with Maree Grenfell for Resilient Melbourne.
